We wanted to remind everyone to keep an eye on the Esquina events calendar. Although Nomadic Ant is not officially involved with these events we feel like all of you should be in the know about what’s happening in the neighborhood this month. Last night was the Craft Like a Mother event where we made jewelry, buttons, cards and other crafty things for our mothers! Don’t forget to get a card in the mail by Thursday so she gets it by Sunday!!! Thanks to Danielle & Amy for leading the creativity and getting the cocktails flowing.
Next week, stop in on Tuesday night for Get Up Stand Up who have found a new home here in Lincoln Square. There’s no charge, but we strongly encourage donations (that’s how places like this keep the lights on!) and will love you forever no matter what you put in the tip jar, really.
Also this month Esquina hosts a Sunday of Tarot Card readings with Lauren Lowe. Sit down for a session and let Lauren use her cards and her intuitive nature for a reading. Feel free to book a time directly or just stop by and see her from 2pm-5pm. You can visit Nomadic Ant while you wait for a session.
Finally, a private listening event where tickets are required ($10 at the door) will happen on May 31. Barbaro + Jess McIntosh will perform original music for your listening pleasure in this intimate space. Here is the event link if you want to RSVP.
